In October 1998 in Laramie, Wyoming - a young college student named Matthew Shepard, was beaten, tortured, and tied to a fence, and left to die by two young men because he was gay. Members of the Tectonic Theatre Project took six trips to Laramie to conduct more than 200 interviews with the people in the town about what happened with Matthew. This play represents those interviews and their discoveries. The cast consists of four men and four women, any ages, any races. Each actor will play multiple roles. Flexible casting. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script.
